I propose that the government immediately squash the construction of the Connector in its present day two-tier form and replace it with a THREE-TIER CONNECTOR. This will add enormous traffic swallowing capacity to the bridge and will make it future ready. And the beauty is that this Three-Tier Connector can be built very very easily without displacing even one person from his home. The MMRDA is not required to acquire any more land from anyone. The existing roads on either side of the railways do offer an easy and available entry and exit for the Connector.

The Connector's traffic is unhindered and the lower two decks become one ways, complimenting each other, and thus the Three-Tier bridge becomes a 4 lane (each way) wide bridge, in the process doubling its traffic swallowing capacity. The bird's-eye-view depiction of the picture in the following pages shows how the Three-Tier Connector will be built.
